Advanced Surgical Concepts focus is to provide abdominal access platforms that further reduce invasiveness during laparoscopic surgery. In addition, Advanced Surgical Concepts developed a first of its kind device ‘PneumoLiner’.
PnuemoLiner allows surgeons to provide the most minimally invasive option when extraction of tissue is necessary. It is the first and only power Morcellation Containment System specifically designed for intra-abdominal insufflation. It allows space and vision throughout the power morcellation procedure while maintaining a barrier to the escape of fluids, cells and tissue fragments.
ASC has completed the first phase of a development strategy that will see us emerge in this major, evolving market as the world leader, in terms of both superior product and comprehensive intellectual property (IP) portfolio. We will forge partnerships with the leading multinational distribution companies in this market.
LESS Devices
ASC’s LESS suite of access devices are minimally invasive, multi-instrument access devices that are designed to facilitate LESS. Many laparoscopic procedures can be carried out via a single incision in the abdomen, though usually through the umbilicus.
Pneumoliner USA
Pneumoliner is a first-of-its-kind tissue containment device that provides appropriate patients with a laparoscopic surgery option for hysterectomy and myomectomy. Pneumoliner is the first and only device that provides tissue containment during power morcellation.
